70, of DeSoto, TX passed away on September 03, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 1 P. M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto TX with Rev. Emilio Rodriquez, officiating. ( There will be no visitation prior to the Service) Interment with Air Force Honors will be held at 10:15 A. M. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Gerald Hoffpauir was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force. He was preceded in death by son: Joey Hoffpauir. Survivors include his wife: Brenda K. Hoffpauir, daughter and her husband: Lisa and William Dunkin, II, son: Michael Hoffpauir, daughter: Melissa Wendt, grandchildren: William III, Jerry, Amber, Destiny, Ashley and her husband: Seth Weatherford, Ozzy and Brandy, great grandchild: Kylee, a sister: Barbara Simpson, nephew: Johnny Mark Hoffpauir, step-children: Brian Shoaf, Brad Shoaf and Melissa Tharp, step-grandchildren: Brian Podd, Tarsha and Taylor, and great grandson: J. C. Clark. Those serving as pallbearers will be William Dunkin, III., Ozzy Hoffpauir, Mike Hoffpauir, Jerry Hoffpauir, Seth Weatherford and Larry Ernst.
