Gerald Don Stringfellow passed away peacefully on October 26, 2021 in Plano, TX due to complications from a stroke. Don was born on September 17, 1949 in Dallas, TX. He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School, from there he attended East Texas State University and earned his Bachelors of Business degree. On June 5, 1970 he married the love of his life, Janet Isbell Stringfellow and together they raised two daughters. He was a licensed real estate broker and worked for Dallas County for over 30 years as an appraiser. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, the Dallas Cowboys and sharing stories about his four grandsons. He was a stranger to no one and loved by many. Don was preceded in death by his father George Franklin Stringfellow, his mother Bessie Bruce Stringfellow and his brother Dale Bruce Stringfellow, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Janet, daughter Amy Foley and husband Mitchell, daughter Angie Strickland and husband Nathan, grandsons Kyle Daniel, Kaden Nicholas, Kolby Don and Benjamin Mitchell and many other friends and family that will miss him forever. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his honor to the American Heart Association. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday - November 17, 2021 at Ovilla United Methodist Church, 1403 Red Oak Creek Rd., Ovilla, TX 75154 with Rev. Steve Heyduck, officiating. Interment of Cremains will follow in Wheatland Cemetery, 8000 S. Hampton Rd., Dallas, TX 75232.
