Gladys Erline Commons

Gladys E. Commons, 99, a long time resident of DeSoto, passed away early Friday, December 21, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her mother Iva Mae Gilbert, her husband Virgil Commons, her two sons Michael Sr and Earl Commons and one grandson Michael Commons Jr. She is survived by her two granddaughters Lori Garza and Wendy Horn and her two grandsons Chris Commons and Chad Commons and daughter-in-law Pat Commons. And a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Ovilla Church of Christ  3420  Ovilla Road in Ovilla, Texas.  Michael Elrod will be the officiating minister.

Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
