Harry Garnett, the eldest of two sons, (Arthur Garnett, the youngest) was born in Chicago Illinois on Thursday, September 17, 1959 at Cook County Hospital through the union of his Father, Harry Garnett Sr., and Mother, Barbara Garnett-Tate (who preceded him in death). Harry entered God’s Holy embrace on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 1:24 pm, surrounded by his loving family. Harry attended Roosevelt Elementary School and went on to graduate from Proviso East High School in 1978. Harry continued his education at Triton College for a few years. Harry worked as an Executive Administrator for UPS corporate offices and later changed his career focus to Health Care Customer Service and worked for Health Smart in Irving Texas. He excelled in this role and was recognized as an outstanding employee for his efforts. Harry lived in Lancaster, Texas with his Best Friend, Travel Companion, Confidant, Road Dog, Lover, Queen, Soul Mate and love of his life, wife Martha Garnett, for 7 years. They were married on December 21, 2012. Together they shared an amazing relationship based on unconditional love and respect. Harry enjoyed traveling, critiquing movies, sharing his travels with Martha, telling jokes, playing card tricks, and being an all-around source of entertainment for his family and friends. Harry’s motto in life was “Be Blessed and Be a Blessing to others”. He lived by this touching and inspiring motto to many people in his life. Harry’s daily/hourly/minute movie reviews and updates on everything under the sun, will be sorely missed. Harry’s pain is no more… Harry leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Martha, Father Harry Garnett Sr., Father-in-law Robert, Mother-in-law Andrea, 4 sons, Broncey, Brice, Chris and Harry, 5 daughters Carmella (Jay). Ashley, Brittany and Breanna, Camille, Siblings Tammie, Arthur, Lionel and Denise, Bonus Children - Camille, Loren, Steve and Valerie. Bonus Sibling – Madeline (Matt), Christopher, Deneen, and Alicia. Nieces Shamika, Angie, Tierra, Nephews, Christopher, Alex, Martell and many grandchildren, family and friends. Celebration of Life Services for Harry were held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday - November 09, 2019 at Glory Tabernacle Church in Joliet, Illinois.
