Hazy "H C" Carl Hasting, Jr.

Hazy "H. C." Hasting, Jr. was born in Duncanville, TX to Hazy Carl Hasting, Sr. and Marzee Jackson Hasting. He had been a supervisor in the Construction Industry with Vernon/James Smith Co. and a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He had been living in the Mineola area for a number of years. Mr. Hasting was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara Hasting, daughter, Carla, and grandson, Neil, Brother, Wayne and his wife, Sylvia Hasting, sister, Userlee Tufts, brother in law and sister in law, Norma and Ted Shaw, numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 A. M. Monday, August 8, 2011, in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Pickens and Mr. Ted Shaw, officiating, Interment with Miliary Rites will follow at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Moody, C. B. Paxton, Carl Pafford, Barry Jenkins, Kenneth Brandenberg, Bill Grounds. The family will host a visitation on Sunday (8/7) at the funeral home from 3 p. m. to 5 p.m.
