J. Russell Gill

71 of Duncanville, TX, passed away June 15, 2009 in a hospital in DeSoto, TX, following an extended illness. He was born December 21, 1937 in Waxahachie, TX to Dr. James R. and Louise Gill. He was a licensed funeral director for the state of Texas, had owned his own funeral home, and grave service, and had been with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department. Survivors include his wife, Pat Gill of Duncanville, 6 children, 5 grandchildren 1 great grandchild and 2 dogs, and sister, Jane Tolman. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 until service time of 2 P. M. at First Baptist Church of Duncanville 323 W. Wheatland Rd., Duncanville, TX 75116 (972.298.0011) Private Interment will follow in Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville Memorials are encouraged to the SPCA or First Baptist Church of Duncanville.
