Aunt Jackie was, to say the least, a very unique personality. Affable, outgoing and bubbly, never met a stranger, a true “life of the party”.
Jackie began her career in the 1940’s in the offices of Sun Oil Company of Dallas and grew to an executive secretary. With her second husband Capt. Earl Hale of American Airlines, they thoroughly enjoyed retirement by traveling the country visiting friends and playing golf, particularly at the home course of Brookhaven. Later in life Jackie delighted in volunteering in the offices of Cooper Health and at her “home”, her assisted living community Brookdale on Preston. She loved and adored her large extended family and her “doggie babies”.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 p. m. on Friday - February 12, 2016 in Wheatland Cemetery, 8000 S. Hampton Rd. (Hampton Rd. @ I-20), Dallas, TX 75232 with Rev. Jimmy Jones, officiating.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials or donations be made in Jackie's name to a local no-kill animal shelter.
