James Joseph Flusche

December 15, 1934 — August 18, 2011

Mr. Flusche died at his home in DeSoto following a tedious battle with cancer. He was born in Electra, Texas to Lawrence Charles and Gertrude Teresa (Lueb) Flusche, Mr. Flusche was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, a real estate research agent, he loved to garden. "He put God first, then his family, his garden and finally work!" Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen Flusche West, and his first wife, and mother of his children, Mary E. (Brobson) Flusche, he leaves behind to cherish his legacy, his wife, Mary L. (Schultz) Flusche, his sons, Rick and Steve Flusche, his daughter, Kathy and her husband, Randy Edington, grandchildren, Jennifer (Trevor) Hall, Jeffrey (Amanda) Flusche, Zane and Carson Flusche, Zack Flusche, Cody Farrell and Molly Phipps, and great grandchildren, Landon and Gavin Flusche, brothers, Kenneth (Carey) Flusche, and Patrick (Michele) Flusche, and a number of nieces and nephews. A Prayer Vigil will be held at West/Hurtt Funeral Home at 7 P. M. Monday, August 22, 2011. Celebration of the Mass will be at 10:30 A. M. on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W. Danieldale Rd., Duncanville, TX 75137 with Rev. Joe Lee, Celebrant. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto. Pallbearers will be Pat Haggerty, Dan Keough, Mike Doyle, Jack Ramsden, Marion Alexander and Greg Warr. Donations may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Outreach.
