James Lafouge Foster

With infinite wisdom, the almighty God has called a faithful servant home. James LaFouge Foster was born in Evergreen, La to the parents of Fred and Martha Weinberg. In 1945, James moved to Chicago, Illinois. Later he was married to Regina Pruitt. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for numerous years. James attended Roosevelt University. James worked several years with Chicago Board of Education as an Electrician. Later James moved to DeSoto, Texas and united with St. John Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. James was employed with the Dallas Independent School District as an Electrician and later retired. James began his walk with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 11:08 a.m. He will always be cherished in the hearts and memories of those who loved him most. Wife Regina, sisters; Beulah Harris, Bonnie Johnson. Sisters-in-law Bettye Wilson and Clara Pruitt. Brother-in-law L.C. Pruitt and Bernice, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A wake will be held at 10:00 A.M Saturday May 1, 2010 with services following at 11:00 A.M in the West/Hurtt Funeral Home Chapel.
