81, U S Army Veteran, of DeSoto, TX passed away on May 18, 2018.Jim was preceded in death by his wife:  Irene Scroggins on March 27, 2018.He is survived by his son & daughter in law:  Mark & Teresa Scroggins;daughter & son in law:  Sharon & Eric Meyer;grandchildren:  Acacia & husband Chase Davisand Monica Scroggins;great grandchildren:  Caleb, Blaine, Griffin & Emmeline Davis;sister:  Rosa Dawson;brothers & sisters in law:  Joe & Margaret Scrogginsand Norman & Dorothy Scroggins;sister in law:  Dorothy Descoteauxand a host of nieces & nephews.The family will receive friends at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 4015 S. Hampton Rd., Dallas, TX 75224 on Wednesday - May 23, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church on Thursday - May 24, 2018 at 11:30 A.M.Interment will follow in Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
