Community advocate with HOA and Historical Society, member of the Lions Club, avid traveler, Jim loved sailing and fishing, passed away at his home on Monday, April 25 early in the evening.
Preceded in death by his wife: Ruth, survivors include his children: Susan and her husband: Mark Selep of Sweetwater, Carolyn and her husband: Tony Lindeman and
Doug and his wife: Debra Strom, all of DeSoto. 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and brother: George Strom of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the funeral home, Funeral Services will be held at 11 A. M. on Monday,
May 2, 2016 at WEST/HURTT Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 1 P. M. on Tuesday at DFW National Cemetery.
