James T. "Jim" Delario

The world lost a good man, loyal friend, loving son, adoring husband, devoted father and doting grandfather on Sunday, November 24, 2013. James Thomas DeLario was born December 29, 1948 in Bound Brook, NJ. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at North Texas State University in August 1972 where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He served in the US Army for three years during which time he married Theresa “Teri” Wilhite. He and his wife shared 40 years together in Germany, Arlington and DeSoto. Jim retired from Boeing/BAE Systems in February 2010 after 28 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, he enjoyed 12 years of coaching and supporting his sons' youth soccer and baseball teams. Jim will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love of family and wicked sense of humor. He is survived by his wife: Teri DeLario; sons & daughters in law: Michael & Kathryn DeLario and Jonathan & Alicia DeLario; grandchildren: Carson, Isaac & Landon; mother: Frances DeLario and a host of aunts, uncles & cousins. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday - December 02, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 2:15 P.M. on the same day in the Dallas/Ft.Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211. There will be no procession. All will meet at the cemetery at 2:00 P.M. in Lane B for the 2:15 P.M. Graveside on Monday. Those serving as pallbearers will be Michael DeLario, Jonathan DeLario, John Young, Clint Young, Joe DeLario & Dennis Loccisano. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to bethematch.org, 1-888-999-6743 and or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of North Texas, 8111 LBJ Frwy., Dallas, TX 75251, 1-888-557-7177.
