Janee Dodson Cordell

Janee Dodson Cordell, of Dallas, TX passed away on February 23, 2019, one day before her 85th birthday. She lived in Dallas for almost 50 years, working for Southwestern Bell Telephone and Armco Steel.  She spent her later years as a beloved and trusted babysitter for numerous children until they were teenagers.  Most of the families continued to stay in close contact with her until she died.  She was a member of Redeemer Bible Church in Dallas where she had many friends.  Her neighbors loved her and they and others called to wish her Happy Birthday the day after she died.  Upon finding that she had died, all said that they were certain that she is happy to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and agreed that it was a wonderful way to spend a birthday. Janee is survived by:  Darrel Dodson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma;  Jimmy L. Dodson & wife Mari-Carmen Dodson of Beaufort, South Carolina;  Christopher J. Dodson & Heather D. Toeppner of Charleston, South Carolina and Noah Toeppner of Charleston, South Carolina. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday - March 10, 2019 at Redeemer Bible Church, 721 Easton Road, Dallas, TX 75218.
