Jeanette's spirit left this world after a very short Non Corona illness, with her husband at her side. She was preceded by her father William Martin Col USAF, Her mother Vera (Carter) Martin and her sister Mary Vining. Her Husband, Wray Phipps, CPT USA, and her sister Mimi Barriere survive her. She was a successful woman with several jobs in her lifetime, from manager to business owner of Cherokee Sun. Over so many years, she served her country from the background. Supporting the military, taking care of her family members and always there to help with no desire for recognition. She was the wind beneath many wings and she will always be the wind beneath my wings. Jeannette was a Cherokee Indian by birth. In keeping with traditions, her spirit was honored by many intertribal Shamans, teachers and students across the nation in a combined and coordinated ceremony of many beliefs. After many Corona delays she was laid to rest in the Ft. Worth/Dallas National Cemetery. Osiyo We n' de ya ho Dear my Sweet sister Jeanette, The universe , my universe has lost some of its brightness. The stars, moon and sun no longer sparkle and shine with out your presence. I will forever feel your loss and I will forever be grateful that you are my beautiful sister. You saved my life and were always there for me during my darkest days. There are no words to express my love, admiration and gratitude. You stopped to see me as you were starting your journey, you gave me a kiss and placed a piece of your heart light into my heart and then you were gone. And so dear heart you are with me now and forever and ever until we meet again, it won't be long now, until then I will see you in the dream time. I love and adore you, Peace! Sister Min
