"Jerri" Jeraldine Bennett

Jeraldine Nancy "JERRI" Bennett, 85, a DeSoto resident for many years, was born to Charles & Ruby Doudney on February 08, 1934 and passed away on October 13, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waxahachie.

Jerri was a secretary for Cliffwood Church of Christ for many years.  She and her husband were very active with the youth department at Christian Academy of Oak Cliff and worked for the DeSoto School District assisting with the program for physically challenged children. She was a very active member at Cold Springs Church of Christ in Lancaster.

Jerri was preceded in death by her husband:  Dick Clark Bennett, son:  Fredrick "Freddie" Bennett, brother:  Bill Doudney, sister:  Lee Robinson and sister:  Jeanine Latimer.

She is survived by her son & daughter in law:  Randall "Randy" & Judy Bennett; daughter in law:  Debra Bennett Bursby; grandchildren:  Ashlee Conerway, Corey S. Bennett, Brieanna Saffeldler, Emily Dunn, Megan Graves & Miranda Locke; 13 great grandchildren, brother in law:  Ed Latimer; nieces & nephews:  Joyce Carter, Keith Latimer, Ken Latimer, Gina Dozier, Nancy Atwood, Bobby Robinson Claudia Doudney.

There will be a Memorial Service at Cold Springs Church of Christ, 2710 W. Main,  Lancaster, Texas 75146 on Saturday - October 26, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.
