Jesse Ray Fields (March 28, 1937 – February 17, 2025) Jesse Fields of DeSoto, TX passed away February 17, 2025 peacefully, surrounded by his family. He was a US Navy Veteran and a retired Dallas Firefighter. He loved his wife and family. He traveled with his daughter, granddaughters, and extended family. He attended Cold Springs Church of Christ in Lancaster, TX. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Thelma and Raymond Fields, his sister and her husband, Patsy and Bill Meeks, brother, Gerald Fields, his brother-in-law, Paul Driggers, nephew, Greg Driggers, and grandson Kyle Foster. He is survived by his wife, Shelly Fields, his daughter, Gina Burba and granddaughters Bailey Burba, Channing Yogel, husband Jake and son Lincoln. His daughters Vicki Grubbs and Linda Parsons. His granddaughters Cassey Sharpe and family and Lauren Kennedy and family. His sister, Judy Driggers and her family, her daughter Darla Henderson and her family. His sister-in-law, Ann Fields and her daughters, Monica Siebert, Hillery Jewell and son Michael Fields and their families. His nephew Glenn Meeks and his family and his niece Rhonda Meeks and her family. He is survived by a large extended family that he loved, and they loved him. Family and friends are welcome to come by West/Hurtt Funeral Home to pay respects on Monday- February 24, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Family and friends will gather at 1:30 P.M. in the Red Oak Cemetery, Red Oak, TX for a Graveside Service beginning at 2:00 P.M. (on the same day 2/24) with Mr. Joe McCall officiating.
