Jim Payton

70, of DeSoto, Texas passed away on October 12, 2013. He was a Sargent in the U S Air Force, retired employee of the City of Dallas and an avid birdwatcher. Jim is survived by his wife: Kay Payton; sister & brother in law: Jerry & H.M. Underwood of Muskogee, Oklahoma and a host of very special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday - October 21, 2013 from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at which time the Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Rev. Hal Farnsworth, officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
