Joe Brent Harris

Joe Brent Harris, 69, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Joe Brent was born July 18, 1953, in Dallas, TX, to Joe and Billie Harris. He grew up in Dallas and DeSoto, TX, where he played football, baseball, and was involved in FFA. After graduation, he worked for Bell South, Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T where he retired after 39 years. He loved and thoroughly enjoyed his family, friends, and riding his Harley. . He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Billie Harris, and his mother-in-law, JoAnn Stiffler. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Stiffler Harris, son Clinton James Harris and wife Erin of Mansfield, TX, son Michael Brent Harris of Waxahachie, TX, grandchildren Brenden Noblitt, Lilly Harris, Madeline Noblitt, Isebel Noblitt, Laci Harris and Remington Withers, brothers Craig Harris and wife Leslie, Kim Harris and wife Becky, along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday - March 07, 2023 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 310 Roaring Springs Dr., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Tim Marks, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park, 2425 W. Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX 75167.
