John M. Barnard

88, passed away on August 17, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean. Survived by sons John and Howard Barnard and daughter Wilda Parker. He is grandfather to Erin Barnard, Rebecca Rury and Eric Veal. He was born in Glen Flora, TX and raised in El Campo, TX. He entered the U S Army in 1942 and was severely wounded in November 1944 while fighting in France. He was Honorably discharged in 1948 at the rank of Master Sergeant. He will be laid to rest with military honors at the Dallas/Ft.Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at 1:00 P.M.
