John Preston Barron

John Preston Barron was born April 11, 1947, and died unexpectedly on December 10, 2013. He was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War, worked for the U.S. Postal Service, was a retired system engineer for IBM, and then worked in the Library Division of the City of Dallas. John is survived by his wife: Chris Barron, children and grandchildren: Kate Barron Michael and husband: Vince Michael, their children: Ian and Elizabeth Michael, daughter: Sarah Borden and husband: Ben, and their expecting daughter: Lily Irene in February, and daughter: Rachel Barron. He is also survived by additional family, and numerous cats and dogs. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held at 4 P. M. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the WEST/HURTT Funeral Chapel.
