68, of DeSoto, TX, a retired educator of 46 years, passed away on June 16th, 2023. Dr. Ringhauser was a loving father, caring husband, and faithful friend. He dedicated over half of his life to the public education system and made a lasting impact on thousands of lives. He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Martha (Lanzillotta) Ringhauser; son and daughter in law: John and Beatriz Ringhauser, son and daughter in law: Daniel and Angie Ringhauser; brothers: Mike and wife Debi Ringhauser and Donald and wife Marybeth Ringhauser; sister: Ann Ringhauser; a host of nieces and nephews and his beloved granddaughter Andie. A Funeral Mass and service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, Texas on June 27th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10am and service at 11am. Graveside Services will follow in Rhodes Cemetery, Desoto, Texas. The service will be live streamed. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials or donations be made in John’s name to the Texas Library Association’s Christina Woll Fund. This supports a grant to a public or school library for collection development or programming supporting children.
