Johnnie Sue Skinner Hart

October 5, 1936 — February 18, 2017

Johnnie Sue McGaffey was born in Wilmer, Texas, and raised in Waxahachie.  A graduate of Mary Hardin University, Sue married Gerald Nelson Skinner, and moved to DeSoto in 1965.  Sue was active in PTA and school activities.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in DeSoto.  Sue and her husband owned a sheet metal company from 1984 to 1996.    After the death of her husband: Gerald Nelson Skinner in 1996, Sue married Charlie Hart, who also preceded her in death.Sue is survived by her son and his wife: Lee and Natasha Skinner, grandchildren: Cody Skinner and Tyson Skinner and his fiance: Rachel Mason, and niece: Brenda York.  Sue is also survived by Charlie's sons and daughters in law: Mark and Amy Hart and Gary and Renee Hart and the grandchildren: Ryan, Caleb, Wesley, Macie and Makenna Hart.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto, TexasFuneral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral HomeInterment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas Memorials are encouraged to the: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation                                                  www.cff.org                                                  6931 Arlington Road   -   2nd Floor                                                  Bethesda, MD 20812                                                  800 344 4823
