Joseph Cacciapaglia

November 14, 1927 — June 19, 2018

Joseph was born November 14, 1927 in Holyoke, MA to Pietro and Josephine Cacciapaglia. He served in the U S Navy in 1946 and 1947. He married Betty on August 20, 1955 in Belchertown, MA. They have lived in the area since 1975, and Joseph retired after 30 years as a systems accountant for the Army Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in DeSoto.

Survivors include his wife: Betty M. Cacciapaglia of DeSoto, daughter: Holly E. Cacciapaglia Blake and her husband: Patrick Blake of Chatsworth, CA, son: Peter H. Cacciapaglia, and his wife: Karen Cacciapaglia of Lewisville, TX, and son: Paul J. Cacciapaglia of Friendswood, TX, grandsons: Joseph Duran Cacciapaglia of Dallas, TX, Dominic Marc Cacciapaglia of Corpus Christi, TX, and Zachary Snow Cacciapaglia of Friendswood, TX, granddaughter: Sophia Marie Cacciapaglia of Plano, TX.

MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 310 Roaring Springs, DeSoto, TX 75115

ENTOMBMENT with U S Navy honors will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas
