71, of DeSoto, TX passed away on February 24, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Luclare Hamby; son & daughter in law: Mark & Kim Hamby; daughter & son in law: Christine & Shawn Grigsby; grandchildren: Jennifer, Zackary, Ashley & Dillon; brother: Adie Hamby; sister: Betty Jean Weaver. Visitation will be from 2 P. M. to 4 P. M. Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the funeral home. Services will be at 11 A. M. Monday, March 1, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 310 Roaring Springs, De Soto, TX 75115 with Rev. Mel Caraway officiating. The procession to the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery for Military Honors will begin at 9:30 A. M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 for a 10:30 A. M. interment time.
