Joyce Ann Frees

78, of DeSoto, TX passed away on August 18, 2021. Joyce Frees was born on May 6th 1943 to Herbert and Lois [Yager] VanMater in California, Missouri She and William Frees Jr. were married on May 5th 1981 in Reno Nevada. They were the owners of DeSoto Skate Center for many years. Preceded in death by her brother Dean VanMater, Mother Lois VanMater, Father Herbert VanMater, Husband William Frees Jr. Brother Dale VanMater, and Son Richard Frees. Loving survivors: Daughter June Frees Fritzinger Bliss {Delaware}, Son William Frees III {Ft. Worth}, Son Stanley Krupnik Jr. {Red Oak} Daughter Camille {David} Willis {Red Oak} Son Ken {Angie} Krupink {Red Oak} Son Charles Krupnik {Louisiana} Daughter Vickie Mirowitz {Euless} Daughter Cindy Regan {Waxahachie} and two loving daughter in laws Oralia Frees (San Antonio) and Tina Frees (Mansfield). Sisters Janice Kay Winters {Missouri} Jean {Patrick} Hillman {Missouri} Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Keith Krupnik, Kurt Krupnik, Blake Mirowitz, Reese Krupnik, Garrett Willis and Seth Krupnik. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Fritzinger, William "Billy" Frees, IV, William Krupnik, Justin Dressen, Kelsey Whiting, Stephanie Brooks, David Alan Willis, Taylor Frees, Samantha Regan, Kyle Frees and Sarah Mirowitz. 10 Great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home (masks required) on Thursday - September 02, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at which time the Funeral Service will begin with Deacon Al Evans, officiating. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Lancaster, TX.
