Judy Moore Batzel

Judy Batzel, 80, beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother and best friend to so many, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2025. Born on April 28, 1945 in Pasadena Rural L.A. County, California. Judy was a great cook who could whip up something scrumptious "out of nothing" ~ just a few ingredients from the fridge and pantry and adding her special touch with spices. Judy never met a stranger and her kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. Judy is survived by her husband John Batzel, Daughter Rhonda Dillinger, Son Eddie Moore, Stepdaughter Cristie Schneidt, Stepson Eric Batzel, Grandchildren Kristal Mott, Avery Schneider, Sienna Schneidt and Mateo Schneidt, Great Grandchildren Kayleigh Mott and Levi Mott and Great Great Grandson Ari Godwyn. We find solace in the countless lives she touched and the immeasurable love she shared. There will be a memorial service on July 14, 2025 at 6:00pm at Landmark Church of Christ in Kaufman Texas. Celebration of Life service for Judy is scheduled at American Legion Post 424 Sunday August 24, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
