68, of Hawkins, TX went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 21, 2018. Kenneth was born in Dallas, TX on October 06, 1950. He graduated from Kimball High School and went on to proudly serve the Army in the Vietnam War. Kenneth truly was one of a kind. He never met a stranger and was always looking for a way to help and serve others. He will always be remembered for his joy, contagious smile, singing, drumming and air guitar. He loved spending time with his family, playing poker, but most of all serving his Lord. He will be greatly missed by many. He is preceded in death by his mother: Juanita Aldridge; father: Marion Curry; step father: Louis Aldridge; sister in law: Becky Curry and his aunt: Mae Spivey. Kenneth is survived by his children: Chelsea Curry and Jason Curry; brother: Charles Curry; sister: Gail Aldridge and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Wednesday - January 02, 2019 from 10:30 A.M. - 11:45 A.M. with a Graveside Service, with Military Honors, to follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211 with Bro. Byron Jones, officiating. The family requests memorials or donations, in lieu of flowers, be made in Kenneth's name to the Wounded Warrior's Project.
