Larry D. "Bat Man" Green

63, of Dallas, TX passed away on November 02, 2018. Larry Donnell Green, son of James Louis Green Sr. and Bobbie Lee Johnson Green. Larry was born in Dallas, Texas January 11, 1955. Attended Public School in Dallas, County. Larry affectionately known as Bat Man was a professional musician. Over the years he formed several bands that performed around the metroplex. On his journey he touched many lives. He was a gifted musician who shared his skills and talent with anyone who had the desire to learn. He taught some to play the guitar and if they had a desire to sing, he helped them find their voice. He loved spending time with his friends. He spent countless hours playing Old School music with his brothers, Charles Green, and Stanley Franklin. Larry was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. On any given game day you would find Larry fully dawned in his Cowboy apparel, remote in hand and cheering for his favorite team. Larry lived life with a song in his heart. He shared that song with his family and friends. Larry entered into Matrimony with Angelita Brown and to this union one child was adopted, Shalarria Brown Green. Larry was preceded in death by both parents, one son Larry James Green, and one brother James Louis Green Jr. Larry entered into “Eternal Rest” on Friday November 2, 2018 in Dallas, Texas He leaves to cherish his memories his Wife Angelita Green, Daughters - Eleria Piece, Shonique Green, Shalarria Brown Green, Flornice Carter - Grand Children - LaDarrian Piece, DeMarya Piece, Drelyn Piece, Shondelia Lister, Dalinda Oliver, Robert Lister, Jr., Sherman Leon Brown - Great Grand Children - Azasha Pickens, Sondrea Pickens, Nevaeh Piece, Kazariah Piece, Heaven Piece – Siblings - Opal Thomas, Louis Green, Ruby Edwards, Charles Green - Nieces – Terri Thomas, Vicki Green, Monica Green, Erica Chambers, Renekka Chambers, Francier Chambers, Kamesha Thomas, Nephews – Louis Green Jr., Donovan Green, David Edwards, Al Shun Green, Corey Jennings, Cousins – Bertha Anderson, Carolyn Anderson, Linda Anderson, Tawana McCollough, Daphne Thomas , Allen Thomas Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Saturday - November 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
