Larry Allen Fluitt

Larry Allen Fluitt, 61 of DeSoto, Texas passed away on March 13, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted and loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, and friend. He is greatly missed by all that know him. Larry was born on April 18,1961 in Beaumont, Texas. He was a graduate of DeSoto High School,and spent over 30 years in the pest control industry, and over 20 years as a business owner. Larry enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, coaching softball, golf, a wide range of crafting, playing video games with his grandchildren, listening to his favorite songs, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Ann Fluitt , son in law Ronnie Echols. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia Fluitt, Daughters: Christina Echols, Melissa Jones (Chase), and Emily Fluitt (James Coulter). Grandchildren: Kayci Jones, RJ Echols, Autumn Jones, Ryean Jones, and Tinsley Jones. Sister Katherine Asher-Jeffries (Craig), and Brother David Fluitt (Aimee). Mother In Law Pat McBride, Aunts and Uncle: Ann Porter, Lydia Fluitt, Rosalie Piner, Janet Watkins (Johnny). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Larry was an avid nature lover and in lieu of flowers the family asks that you send donations to the Cedar Ridge Preserve at audubondallas.org or the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation at tpwf.org A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday - April 17, 2023 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 265 W. Pleasant Run Road, Cedar Hill, TX 75104.
