POWERS, Larry A., 57, of Ovilla, went to be with his Savior, Lord Jesus after a courageous eight year battle with glioblastoma. He was a banker and avid U. T . supporter. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Becky, son; Blake of Austin, mother: Dartha Roberts, father: Cotton Powers, sister: Faun Franklin, brother, Jay Roberts, sister: Rachelle Powers, brother; Cary Powers. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday (5/14) at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday , May 15, 2011, in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Townsley, officiating. Interment will follow in Milford Cemetery, Milford, Texas.
