Linda Morgan Mentesana

went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2010 at 87 years of age. Linda was born on June 30, 1922 to Ben and Vera Box in Blossom, TX. Linda was saved at Galilean Baptist Church in April 1960. As she entered the presence of Jesus, she was surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by two husbands: John Henry Morgan and Joe Mentesana; her son: John Robert Morgan; a sister: Marilyn Hicks and a brother: R.B. Box. She is survived by her daughter and son in law: Linda & Irby Westmoreland; daughter in law: Dottie Morgan; grandchildren: Bob & Teresa Westmoreland, Rusty Morgan, Terri & Jimmy Hart, Traci & Robert Beathard and Penni & Jerry Jones; 11 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brothers: Dr. Clyde Box and Billy Webb; sisters: Barbara Box and Marcy Burman and special brother in law: Lynn Hicks of Dallas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 6 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with Dr. Clyde Box, officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
