Linda Ann Rigdon

59, a DeSoto resident since 1985, passed away August 26, 2010 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas following a lengthy illness. She was born November 12, 1950 in Coushatta, Louisiana to Charlie and Ruby Britain Barbo. She was married to Charles Rigdon on October 21, 1972 in Houma, LA She was a community volunteer and a homemaker. Preceded in death by brothers: Charlie, Jr., Nickey Ray, Nolan Earl and Howard Barbo, Sr. She is survived by her husband: Charles Rigdon, sisters and their husbands, Nora and Floyd Price and Carol and Harold Pitre of Houma, LA, Clarene and James Canterbury of Hammand, LA, brother and sister in law: Charles and Hope Barbo of Olla, LA and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 with a Tribute to Linda's Life at 5 p.m., additional visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Riser and Son Funeral Home 7131 Hwy 165.
