Luis Fernando Ruiz-Perez

Luis Fernando Ruiz-Perez 40, of DeSoto passed away June 5, 2024.  Luis was born in Aurora Colorado to Nester and Yuraima Ruiz and was known by his family as "Pio".

Luis was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and proud member of American Legion Post 424 in Dallas.  Affectionately known to his fellow American Legion Riders as "Mr. Jones".  Luis was most proud of his family.

He is survived by his wife Jessica, children, Samuel Ruiz, Sarah Ruiz, and Simon Ruiz, parents Nestor and Yuraima Ruiz, brothers and sisters, Suzanne Ruiz, Nestor "Enrique" Ruiz, and Michael Ruiz, twelve nieces and nephews and a host of many family members and friends.

Visitation is Saturday July 27, 2024 10:00 A.M - 11:00 with Celebration of Life Service following immediately after at VIVA Church International  9120 Ferguson Road Dallas, TX. 75228.

Internment Monday July 29th, 2024 3:00 P.M at DFW National Cemetery with Military Honors Lane 4.

Floral Tributes need to be delivered to the church.
