Magdalena Agnes Szubski

Magdalena Agnes Szubski, 88, of Fort Gratiot, Michigan (Formerly of DeSoto, TX) died Friday, February 15, 2013. She was born January 25, 1925 in Allenstein, Germany to the late Franz and Elisabeth Muller. She married Stanislaw Szubski on April 19, 1958 in Detroit. He died in January of 2007. She is survived by two sisters, Caecilie Bieniek of Port Huron and Anni Sentker of Germany; her niece Elizabeth (Dan) Elder; nephew, Martin (Lois) Bieniek; great nephews and nieces, Paul and Jeffrey Elder and Jaclyn (Benjamin) McClain; and great great nephew and niece, Matthew and Katie McClain. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday - February 17, 2013 in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, Michigan 48060 810-985-4351. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday - February 18, 2013 in St. Stephen Catholic Church, 325 32nd Street, Port Huron, Michigan 48060. The Reverend Father Brian Cokonougher will officiate. Her body will then be shipped to West/Hurtt Funeral Home, 217 S. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, Texas 75115 972-223-6314 for Visitation on Wednesday - February 20, 2013 from 12:Noon till 1:45 P.M. at which time the procession will leave for Graveside Services to begin at 2:30 P.M. in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX.
