Margaret was born to Jack and Nadine Moffett at Florence Nightingale Maternity Hospital in Dallas. The first of three three children, her baby brothers are Bobby and Jimmy Moffett. She grew up in South Oak Cliff, and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1958. She was captain of the Golden Debs drill team her senior year of high school. Her mother sewed all of her clothes and even some of her friends clothes. She married in 1958 and lived in Oak Cliff before moving to DeSoto in the early 1970's. She had two children while in Oak Cliff: Mark Dee and Alycia D'Ann. Margaret sang and danced from the time she could walk. Margaret worked faithfully for Coldwell Banker Real Estate for many years.

Survivors include her daughter: D'Ann Venable and husband: Greg Hanson of Little Elm, TX, son: Mark and his wife: Lana Beth Venable of Italy, TX,
3 grandchildren: Cory Reed and his wife: Kelsi Zabonik Reed, Dustin Venable and his fiance: Chrissy Cruz and Mikayla Venable, four great grandchildren: Cash Reed, Kinsley Reed, Romeo Molina, Cheyenne Venable, brothers: Bobby Moffett and Jimmy Moffett.

A Memorial Service and Tribute to her Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto, Texas.

In Lieu of Flowers: donations can be made to your local SPCA or any Charity of your choosing.
