Marieta Faye Hunter

88, of DeSoto, TX passed away on May 01, 2021.

Marieta was preceded in death by her parents:  Lester & Opal Bevill; husband:  Earl Ray "Dick" Hunter; son:  Jeff Hunter; siblings:  Shirley Bevill, Jenell Bevill, Billie Harper and Clifton Conrad Bevill; niece:  Wendy Jones;  brothers in law:  Royce Harper & Clyde Hunter; sisters in law:  Bonnie Hunter & Shirley Hunter Felty.

She is survived by daughter:  Elizabeth "Beth" Hunter Koning; sister & brother in law:  Donna & Glen Jones; brother in law:  John Hunter; granddaughters:  Staci Hunter, Jheri Hunter and Holli Hennen; 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday - May 06, 2021 in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 A.M. (same day) with Rev. Kelly L. Wolverton, officiating.

Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. in Celeste Hogeye Cemetery, Celeste (Hunt Co.), TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials or donations be made in Marieta's name to the Talking Book Program c/o Texas State Library & Archives Commission, 4400 B Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin, TX 78756-3213.
