Marvelle Theresa Tegeler Cangemi

91, of Dallas, TX passed away on December 06, 2012. Marvelle was a 1939 graduate of Milby High School in Houston, TX. She married Vincent C. Cangemi in 1940 and set to pursue her desire to be a faithful, loving wife, mother and homemaker. Alternative medicine and nutrition became a lifelong hobby and interest. She loved books and learning and was an avid reader on these and other subjects. She was adventurous and liked to try new things. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, watching cooking shows, camping, the outdoors, organic gardening, traveling and her family. Marvelle was very loving, unselfish, hard-working, thoughtful and dedicated all of her many years. She loved the Lord and endeavored to live a life pleasing to Him. She was greatly loved, will be missed as much, but fondly and affectionately remembered as we look forward to our reunion in heaven and the hope of the Resurrection. She was preceded in death by her husband: Vincent C. Cangemi, one grandson and one great grandson. She is survived by her daughter: Jo Marie Knight; son: Vincent A. Cangemi; daughter & son in law: Theresa & David King; son: Michael Cangemi; daughter & son in law: Yvonne & Jim McDaniel; son: Jack Cangemi; daughter: Karen Cangemi; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday-December 09, 2012 from 5 - 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Monday-December 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in White Church Cemetery, Blooming Grove (Navarro Co.), TX at 1:00 P.M. The family requests memorials be made to the Community Hospice of Texas, 1341 W.
