Mary Edith Davis

75, of DeSoto, TX passed away on June 16, 2010 in DeSoto. Born here, she was part of a pioneer family for the area, and married Raymond Davis, also a pioneer to the area. He preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include her sons: Dennis W. Davis, Sr. of Waxahachie and Danny Davis of Desoto and grandchildren: Dennis Wayne Davis, Jr. of Dallas and Julie Ann Davis of Midlothian. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the funeral home. Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 in the WEST/HURTT Chapel by Chaplin Denny Burris. Interment will follow in Rawlins Cemetery in Lancaster.
