Mary C. Hitt

68, of Waxahachie, TX passed away on January 19, 2012. She was born at Baylor in Dallas, worked with the County Extension Office in Dallas and was a Nurse for over 40 years and the last several years at Park Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in DeSoto, TX. Mary was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Nelson and her husband Roger Dale Hitt. She is survived by daughter & son in law: Lori & Marty Schrott of Damon, TX; daughter & son in law: Renea & Jimmy Murley of Waxahachie, TX; son: Orville Jay McKee of Burleson, TX; son & daughter in law: Jimmy Dale & Sherry Hitt of Saganaw, TX; grandchildren: Lisa & David Staton, Randy Staton, Amanda & Rocky Cruz, Michael Staton, David & Brandy Murley, Chris Murley, Jennifer Oliver, Marcus & Sherry Murley, Nathan Smith, Bethany McKee, Dustin McKee, Savanah Hitt and Trysten Hitt; 18 great grandchildren; brother: Larry Nelson. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 7 - 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 24 at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Pastor Dan McClinton, officiating. She will be interred in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery with her husband, Roger Dale Hitt, who died in May of 2011. Pallbearers serving will be Randy Staton, Michael Staton, David Lee, David Murley, Chris Murley, Mark Murley and Nathan Smith.
