Matthew Keith Schmidt

Matthew was born at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, and passed away unexpectedly at Methodist Charlton Hospital. Survived by his parents, Vern and Betsy Schmidt of Lancaster, sisters and their husbands, Amber and Heath Waldeier of Liberty, MO, Ashley and David Flach of Midlothian, 3 nieces, Whitney, Claire, and Scarlett paternal grandmother, Eupha Schmidt of Burlington, IA. Aunts and Uncles and their spouses, Judi and Chuck Johnson of Kearney, MO, John and Margaret Edgell of Seattle, WA, Jane Edgell of Chicago, IL, Becky and Darrel Caneday of Taylors Falls, MN, Dale and Nancy Schmidt of Burlington, IA, Naomi and Lance Landis of Indianapolis, IN, cousins, John, Jim, Jill, Jackie, Josh, Brooke, Emily, Michelle, Krista, Starla, Stephanie and Troy, great aunts, Ann Edgell and Jeanette Edgell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday (7/5/11). Funeral Services will be held at 3 P. M. Wednesday (7/6/11) at Faith Bible Church, 1437 W. Pleasant Run Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Pastor Curt Krohn, officiating. Interment will be at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery on Friday (07/08/2011) at 9:45 A.M.
