Melissa "MISSY" A. Berrier, 59, of DeSoto, passed away early Friday morning on January 4, 2019 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Melissa was born in Dallas, Texas on June 3, 1959 to Raymond and Shirley Hickman.

Melissa Berrier was a loving wife and mother who was dearly loved by her friends and family. She was a former teacher. She leaves behind her family and is survived by her husband Michael Berrier, Daughter Tisha Berrier, Her mother Shirley Hickman and husband Robert Osmundsen, Sister Melinda Dickinson, and husband Gary Dickinson her niece Jennifer Dickinson and mother-in-law Alice Giroir,  Father-in-law Gene Berrier , Her sister-in-law Cindy Long and husband Roy Long, Nieces Tasha and April long, Brother-in-law James Berrier, And wife Annette Berrier.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 221 W. Beltline Rd., DeSoto, Texas 75115

Memorials in "MISSY'S" name are encouraged to First Baptist Church of DeSoto, or the American Kidney Foundation.
