Michael Lee Daugherty

Daugherty, Michael Lee, 67 passed away peacefully at Lake Murray in Oklahoma on April 6, 2012. He had a great sense of humor and a very kind heart. He was a successful business man who owned Mike's Mobile in DeSoto, TX for many years. He was also a successful cattle owner, buyer, and auctioneer. He loved being in nature and his favorite places were Colorado, New Mexico, and the spot he loved most was Lake Murray where he passed. He is survived by his sons, Chris Daugherty and wife Susie, Craig Daugherty, Daughter Jamie Maccloskey and husband Matthew, Grandchildren Serena Maccloskey, Amy Kellogg and husband Robbie, Lindsay Wood, and Philip Wood, Aunt Lucile Shockley, Brother Henry Daugherty, Sisters Dorothy Daugherty and Molly Bybee. Many thanks to his caregiver Tonya Dollison. Visitation is Tuesday, April 10th from 6:30-8:30 pm. at West-Hurtt Funeral home. Funeral is set for Wednesday, April 11th at 11:00 am, in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Allen Grant, officiating. We are deeply heartbroken over our loss and will forever feel his absence.
