Michael Glenn Smith

Michael Glenn Smith was born in Dallas, Texas. He served 20 years in the U. S. Army during Viet Nam doing military intelligence. He then spent 10 years at El Centro College as a financial aid representative. He is survived by his wife for 36 years: Carolyn Rieves, daughter: Regan Ellis  and her husband: Anthony Ellis, and there three children(his grandsons) Nathanial and Tyler Ellis and (his granddaughter) Mallori Ellis, his son: Jason Smith and his wife: Jessica , and their children, (his granddaughter): Devin Smith and( his grandson) Gavin Smith. He was preceded in death by his mother: Gussie Tomroy Hickey Smith in 1990, his father: Glenn Taylor Smith in 1996, and his sister: Kathy DeLaRosa in 2013.. The family will gather at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 for a visitation before leaving to go to Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery for Interment with U. S. Army Honors at 1:15 P.m.(Please assemble in Lane B of the DFW National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211  at 1 P. M.)
