Milene Jones

Cleta Milene Jones, 96, of Forney (formerly of DeSoto), TX passed away on November 09, 2019. Milene was a caregiver until she couldn’t be anymore. She took care of her husband, J Norris through his 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s, her grandson, Josh, through his many challenges and so many other family members and friends. She was part of the welcoming committee at her assisted living and was always up for a cheese ball and glass of wine. She made the best chicken and dumplings with green beans. She was such a light and loved seeing her grandkids and great grandkids. She always went above and beyond to celebrate birthdays and holidays so her family would have precious memories. She left us after living a full and blessed life not in pain but anxious to see her loved ones. Milene was preceded in death by her husband:  John Norris Jones; sons:  Stephen Childs Jones and Mark Cameron Jones; sister:  Wanda Fox. She is survived by her son & daughter in law:  Randall Norris & Joann Jones; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday - November 15, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. with Graveside Services starting at 2:00 P.M. in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1500 S. Westmoreland Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 with The Rev. James Harris, officiating.
