Milton Ray Lewis was born January 7, 1953, to the parents of Arthur Jerone Bailey, Jr. and Annie Mae Wash of Longview, Tx. He attended Longview HS and graduated there. He accepted Christ at an early age as his Savior. He moved to the Dallas, Tx., where he began to live his life where he met his lovely wife, Patsy Callins Lewis. They united in marriage for 35 years until his departure. Milton was a professional welder for 38 years. He started at Garden Denver Company. He worked as a shape cutting specialist. Owner and boss, Rodney Walker, was more than a boss to Milton.
He was preceded in death by both parents: Arthur Jerome Bailey, Jr., and Annie Mae Wash of Longview, Texas. Three brothers: Jerry Wash, Donald Wash both of Los Angeles, Earnest Jerome Bailey of Dallas, Tx., sister, Beverly K Bailey. One grandson, Julius Brontay Brown of Longview, Texas.

Milton’s wife of 35 years, Patsy C Lewis, his three sons - Devane Lewis Callins & wife Nicole Callins, Milton Ray Lewis, Jr. II, Chris Lister, and two adopted sons, Rodrick Elliott & Quaylon Logan. One daughter, Rochelle Smith and her husband, Carl Smith. Two sisters: Ramona and her husband, Mike Williams of Houston, Tx., & Estella Wash of Phoenix, AZ. Two brothers, Erwin Bailey, Richard Flip Bailey of Dallas, Tx. Six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a hosts of relatives and friends.
