Muriel L. Allen

93, of DeSoto, TX passed away on August 02, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 68 years: Jack Allen; daughter: Jacqueline Allen; sister: Phyllis Sams & her husband Bill and Candice McCurdy & her husband Chad and their children: Aiden & Avery and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday - August 5, 2014 from 5:30 - 7:30 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday - August 6, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. at The Oaks Baptist Church, 801 E. I-20, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 with Dr. Heath E. Marion, Dr. Herb Pederson and Dr. Bill White, officiating. Interment will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. Those serving as pallbearers will be Steve Davidson, Tom Vick, Allan Vermillion, Roby Bass, C.N. Hester and Gary Brown. Deacons of The Oaks Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Allen Memorial Fund c/o The Oaks Baptist Church.
