Nora Blanche Williams

Our mama, Nora Blanche Williams, of Cedar Hill, Texas, was born March 4, 1927, in Eva, Alabama, to Bernard and Annie Warwick, and left this earth at the age of 93, to be with the Lord, at 1:02 a.m. on Valentine’s Day, 2021, in Midlothian, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Lester Erskine Williams, her daughter, Barbara Elaine Arnold, and her son-in-law, Thomas Gene Bailey. Known as Blanche, Mama, “Grandma,” or “Meemaw” by her immediate family, she is survived by her children, Robert Alan Williams and his wife, Donna, Carolyn Sue Bailey, and Russell Erskine Williams and his wife, Stephanie, her son-in-law, Dee Edward Arnold, and her sister, Onita Simmons, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She has twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. FOLLOWING ALL COVID-19 GUIDELINES the family will receive friends in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Monday, February 22, 2021, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. (same day) with Pastor David Grice officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date where she will be buried next to our daddy.
