Hal Henry, 76 of DeSoto, Texas lost his brave battle with cancer on Sunday morning, September 29, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Dallas. A Veteran of the US Air Force from 1956-1962, he had also owned a roofing company, and in 1968 went to work for Metl-Span in Lewisville, then transfered to Powerfoam in Midlothian where he was the plant manager for a number of years.
Survivors include his wife: Regina Henry of DeSoto, her children: Christine Green and her husband: John of Red Oak, TX, Todd Wright of Venus, TX, and Sherri Neal of Grapevine, TX, along with Kirk Roberts of Grand Praire, TX., grandchildren: Amanda Styles, Matthew Green, Michael Green, Joshua Wright, Jeremy Wright, Christian Wright, Karen Neal, and Jeffrey Neal; great-grandchildren: Cayden Styles, Bryson Styles, Paiton Wright. Hal also had three daughters and one son, (the son preceded him in death) and a number of grandchildren including: Timothy Henry, and great-grandchildren including: Trevor Henry, step-children: including: Jessie, Mike and Ruben Tuberville and Donna Furr. He also is survived by a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, a sister: Shirley Reid and a brother: Jay Henry, both of Paris, TX Hal was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Jim, Gerald, Raymond, and Bill Henry.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 A. M. on Monday, October 7, 2013, in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral home with Rev. Jeff Stanley, officiating.
