She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Bascom of Tyler, TX; daughter: Sharlyn Ritchie of Greenville, TX; son: Jerry Spencer of Lone Oak, TX; son: Dean Bartness of Chandler, TX; grandchildren: Dove Harwell of Rowlett, TX, Heather Atencio of Dallas, TX and Jerry Spencer, III. of Singapore; 10 great grandchildren; brother: Richard Champ Martin, II. and sister: Elaine Martin of Bullard, TX. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday - August 30, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. at which time a Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1500 S. Westmoreland Rd., DeSoto, TX.
