Patsy Joann Helton

Patsy JoAnn Helton, 82, passed away December 27, 2016. She was born on May 23, 1934 in Hawley, Texas to father Bernice Warren and mother Alene Warren. She was a beloved mother to Eddie Helton, Elizabeth “Marjay” Helton, and a beloved grandmother to Tanya Shipman, Robert Neifert, Brandi Helton, Josh Helton, Richard Redd, and Alexandria Redd while also being a cherished great-grandmother to Maddison Mubarak and LillyAnn Workman. She was a strong independent woman who welcomed anyone who walked in her door, though she was not afraid to kick you out in a moment’s notice. She was a very loving, hard-working lady who always put others well-being before her own, no matter the circumstance. She is already dearly missed and will forever be remembered through many people’s hearts in the DeSoto community. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday - January 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of DeSoto, 221 W. Beltline Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Bro. Dave Stephenson, officiating.
